A Very Special Highland Hogmanay

The imposing Highland setting, the blazing log fires, the delightfully relaxing surroundings, the many years of experience on hand, the many optional activities, and of course that special atmosphere for the big night – how can you resist the thought of Hogmanay at the Atholl Palace! Just a few things change each year, but our guests keep telling us not to change anything - so we don’t! Some of the many elements that fill up each day are listed below!

29th December

• The sound of pipes as you arrive
• Welcoming Cocktails
• Dinner followed by traditional jazz

30th December

• The Atholl Palace Buffet Breakfast
• Exclusive Visit by Coach to the Famous Grouse Experience near Crieff, an award winning tourist attraction; including a VIP Tour with tastings, and hot buffet lunch with drinks.

• Clarsach music and mulled wine
• Ceilidh Dancing with Michael Philip after dinner

Hogmanay

• Outdoor activities in the grounds
• 3 course lunch
• Falconry display
• Gala Decorated Cold Buffet
• Fully compered evening of entertainment featuring Eddie Rose, the Conundrum Dance Band, Black Satin Disco, and of course the Vale of Atholl Pipe Band

• Traditional Haggis Rolling Competition

• Visit to the Pantomime in Perth
• Roast Leg of Highland Beef Buffet
• Cabaret Folk Evening with North Sea Gas
